Ethical Framework
1. General Publication Ethics
- All parties (authors, editors, reviewers, publishers) must comply with Universitas Negeri Padang's publishing policies
- The publisher maintains editorial independence without interference
- Published works are protected against defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism
- All manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review to ensure quality
- Strict confidentiality is maintained throughout the review process
- Editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit and relevance
2. Editorial Responsibilities
Editorial Structure:
- Editor-in-Chief: Oversees all publication decisions
- Managing Editor: Coordinates manuscript workflow and scheduling
- Section Editors: Conduct initial assessments and facilitate peer review
- Copy Editors: Ensure formatting and language standards

- Fair evaluation without discrimination
- Confidential handling of submissions
- Prompt investigation of ethical concerns

3. Reviewer Responsibilities
- Provide constructive, objective evaluations within agreed timelines
- Maintain strict confidentiality of manuscript content

4. Author Responsibilities
- Ensure original work with proper attribution
- Provide accurate data with appropriate retention

- Obtain necessary ethical approvals for human/animal studies
